Kerry Parker, Former Parent
The company with which my husband is employed is relocating our family to Atlanta, Georgia in June. Regretfully, Max will be unable to continue attending Park Maitland School as a result. While this is an exciting time in our lives, we feel a loss. It is unlikely that any program in Atlanta will exceed or match that which Park Maitland has provided Max in the past two years.
Park Maitland School balances progressive academics with enriching social activities. The environment at Park Maitland is warm, and the faculty and staff nurturing and encouraging of individual interests and talents. This combination has resulted in personal growth for Max during his time at Park Maitland.
Max loves going to school, and as a parent, this is extremely rewarding to witness. Max is confident in his skills, and because of this, performs well in many areas. The support he receives from teachers and friends enhances his abilities.
In addition to square roots, graphing, the contributions of presidents and spelling lists which include “Pterodactyl” and “Punxsutawney,” Max understands the significance of incorporating good deeds into his days, exhibiting proper manners habitually, and having compassion for others. Also, Max was well prepared for the rigorous requirements associated with the process of applying and matriculation into competitive private schools in the Atlanta area.
Education is lifelong – those who enjoy the process will almost certainly commit the most towards achievement. The foundation is laid early. Because Park Maitland School makes learning fun, Max has developed a love for it that I am confident he will carry always.
Please convey my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Park Maitland for their parts in helping to make Max the happy, bright and confident boy that brings me such joy. It has been a pleasure and privilege to have been associated with Park Maitland School.
