Club Eagle After Care
After experiencing a multifaceted educational journey during the school day at Park Maitland, children can continue the wonder with our aftercare program. Club Eagle is an exciting and engaging program where students bond with children of all ages and receive an opportunity to employ the communication skills they have been honing all day.
Run by Ms. Joy Sonntag, Club Eagle takes place on the Park Maitland campus in the Arts & Athletics Center and outdoor spaces. Parents must register in advance so the appropriate information is available to assure student safety. Program charges (whether full-time or daily use) are billed ‘in arrears,’ appearing on the monthly statement the month after actual use.
To fill the gap in time between the first and second daily dismissals, students in our lower grades waiting for older siblings or carpool are welcome to join Parker’s Pals. Supervised by Park Maitland teachers, Parker’s Pals meets in the lunch area outside the upper grades’ science rooms. During this time, students start on their homework and discuss the day’s lessons with peers.
Parker’s Pals is free of charge but prior registration is required. To avoid dismissal and carpool confusion, parents must communicate with their child whether he or she is to attend Parker’s Pals on any given day
